Are You Worried Your Plants Won’t Survive in Transit?

Our new packaging design - suggested by you!

Here at Jersey Plants Direct we are always trying to improve our service. Being a mail – order company, a big part of our service is delivery. We asked you, our customers how to improve our delivery service and you gave us some wonderful suggestions.

Without your voice we wouldn’t have strengthened our boxes and included a pillow to protect your plants in transit. Since making these changes, our customers have this to say -

“WELL DONE Jersey Plants Direct… you have restored my faith in you! Both lots of bird food is have arrived safely. CONGRATULATIONS, Plants ordered 5 days ago arrived in EXCELLENT CONDITION. They are lovely strong plants, better packed than last year. We are now looking forward to yet another lovely display. THANK YOU.” - Mr. T. Bowen

“My Primrose and Polyanthus plants have just arrived in perfect condition with additional packaging to protect the plants, even if the box was upside down.” - Mr. B from Surrey

I write to confirm my Primrose order received today in good condition. I consider the air cushion protecting the plants a very commendable idea. – Mr. Pliskin

Please give us any feedback you have about our products, packaging or customer service – we’d love to hear from you! Post your comments here or contact us here!

Pansy Grande Fragrance on the 8th day - still healthy and strong!

If this is your first time using a mail-order company, you may worry about the condition of your plants during transit, so we decided not just to review our packaging this month. Our horticultural experts also began to test the ‘shelf life’ of our  Autumn 100 + 60 free Plug Plants and we are extremely happy to report back to you with fantastic results!

Firstly, we packed each variety of our 100 + 60 FREE Plug Plants in a tray and closed box, leaving them in a room with no heating for four days. Then we removed the tray of Plug Plants from the box and placed it in the greenhouse for another four days.

The results were brilliant- the plants were still healthy, strong and perfect for planting out as soon as possible. There really is no need to worry about your plants in transit!
